Engaged after six months? Yes! My guest, Morghen, shares how she met and married her hubby all while balancing her new business. We chat about having it all and how to balance while still making your relationship a priority.
“You can have it all you have to make time for it. You have to know what to give your time and energy to,” Morghen explains.
Her unique love story
Back in 2019, Morghen was working as an admissions counselor. A co-worker was friendly with this very chocolate student. She was not checking for him, but she noticed him a little. A co-worker asked if she was talking to anyone. Morghen replied a day later. Like anyone does in 2019, she looked him up on Instagram. Her future hubby, spelled her name wrong, which you know I overstand.
After going on a double-date, she was impressed. She couldn’t find a fault in him. She of course promptly left the college.
Only dated six months before getting engaged. That brought along some na-sayer. Even her mom questioned the engagement. The couple moved forward with their relationship even moving in together and the next day Morgen was engaged.
The proposal
Started with a fake argument at a restaurant. Meanwhile, Morghen is ready for her food, The two continued to argue and eventually left the restaurant. After being taken outside she found her future hubby on one knee.
“My priority is my husband,” Morghen shares.
Morghen’s goals
As a travel agent, loading her business, Morghen and her hubby had a conversation about the shift in her relationship. To balance, she plans time for all the things she needs, but she realizes her hubby comes first.
