Have you ever given a gift to a loved one with the expectation of receiving a gift…No worries, Morgane has too and that is why she is shakin’ her curls about gifting with expectations. Gifts are an important and meaningful act that comes from the heart and that is what matters more than anything else.

Morgane is also chewin’ a delightful butternut squash and green apple soup. Combined with fennel, onion, carrots, garlic, and a nice set of seasonings to amplify the taste, you will enjoy this hearty fall/winter meal.

Feeling a little Bah Humbug? In this episode, Morgane will be discussing finding your holiday cheer. She discusses why having plans is important this season and offers five tips for getting into the holiday spirits.

  1. Take time to decorate your home.
  2. Engage in holiday activities like listening to Christmas songs (suggestion: Last Christmas by Wham!), watching Christmas movies, and thinking about previous positive Christmas memories.
  3. Host a virtual party or get together with family or close friends. Plan a week ahead to give your loved ones time and invite them to dress up, bring games, or offer their favorite cookie recipes.
  4. Bake or cook your favorite Christmas recipes (like gingerbread cookies).
  5. Reflect on 2020 with a letter to yourself. Next year at this time, it will be a great way to think about how much you have grown in a year.

With these five tips, hopefully, you will feel an unexplainable sense of joy, peace, and magic.
